Raw Material Selection & Smelting
We begin with ethically sourced 925 sterling silver grains alloyed precisely with 7.5% copper for structural integrity. The alloy is melted in clay crucibles at 961°C before being cast into monolithic working ingots.
Hand-Forging & Thermal Annealing
Heavy steel hammers draw out the silver upon anvil horns, compressing internal crystal grain. Intermittent torch annealing relieves molecular stress at a dull cherry-red glow, preserving metal ductility without micro-fracturing.
Precision Piercing & Soldering
Using Swiss-made 8/0 jeweler sawblades, intricate silhouettes and custom bezel seats are cut by eye. Multi-tier silver solders ranging from hard to easy are applied with micro-torches to create seamless metallurgical joints.
Hallmarking & Mirror Hand-Polish
Each finished specimen receives the permanent ARGENT maker hallmark and legal 925 fineness stamp. Multi-stage buffing with Tripoli pumice and dry rouge imparts a deep liquid specular brilliance to every facet.
